My craft is pushed to produce the emotional impact that fosters a palpable connection.  Spirit of place, the essence of the individual; these are the things that matter and endure.  Coming into contact with these truths is a blessing.  The neccessity and beauty of connection is an essential theme, deeply embedded at times, in my art.  I have found photography a way to experience the world in a peaceful and transcendent fashion.  My camera acts as "a finger that points to the moon" to use a Buddhist adage.
