I have been photographing for eight years, and love it everyday. I am almost entirely self taught with the exception of an introductory course taken my senior year at Denison University. Much is owed to the friend who offered use of his camera when I couldn't afford one of my own. I was born and raised east of Cleveland, Ohio. Since that time California and Sicily have been home. I currently reside in Ithaca, New York.
Landscapes and abstract views of nature have long been a favorite subject of mine. More recently travel, street and people photography have peaked my interest. I have been blessed to travel far and have found some of my most cherished images near by.
The genius of Minor White has exercised great influence on me. His photographs have brought solace. His words have encouraged me to go on.
